Our Approach
Our Approach
The philosophy of Little Scholars is based on the belief that each child is a unique individual
with unique capabilities and talents. A warm, loving environment combined with well-trained
and creative teachers stimulates a child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
Our Story
Meet the Team
Our mother-daughter team of 3 has over 55 years of combined experience working with children. All 3 Directors are on-site each day to supervise classrooms, monitor the quality of our program and make changes as needed.
Mrs. Helen Panoutsos
Owner & Director
With over 35 years of experience working with children, Mrs. Helen poured all of her heart and energy into founding our school in 2007. Children look forward to her bright smile and cozy hugs as they arrive to school each morning. Mrs. Helen mostly enjoys creating art with the children and has the highest expectations of keeping an organized and clean learning environment.
Mrs. Niki Rogaris
Owner & Director
Mrs. Niki is responsible for tours, enrollment and day to day administrative operations of our center-including the USDA food program, Illinois Action for Children and providing resources for families. Mrs. Niki lends an extra hand when needed in the classrooms, and acts as a substitute when necessary.
Mrs. Zoe Andrianopoulos
Owner & Director
Mrs. Zoe is our curriculum coordinator and special activities and event planner. She is dedicated to making sure our children are well prepared for Kindergarten and the school years beyond. Mrs. Zoe is focused on creating opportunities for our children to engage in our community and grow in all areas of development.
Teaching Staff
Our staff is the heart and soul of our program, so we employ and retain the best in the field. All staff members are trained and experienced professionals who meet and exceed state requirements. Each member of our team is subject to health screening, background checks, and are CPR/First Aid certified.
